In the course of her experiences and travels as an artist, Judith became fascinated by the role that our mind and soul plays in determining the course of our lives. Recognizing that internal events set the course of our lives to a far greater degree than any external influence ever could, she began studying the methods and philosophies adopted by the great teachers and masters of the world religions. The knowledge gained allowed her to see that the ability to improve and change one’s life is ever-present in each of us. We can learn to access this innate ability at will, and when we do we move from being people reacting to events in our lives, to people experiencing and directing our own life in a way we choose.

 
Recognizing that an ever-increasing number of people in our culture are desperate for an answer to their feelings of stress, unhappiness, isolation, and disconnect, Judy became an ordained minister and began working with people to assist them in the process of personal growth and change. Through her business "Awakenings", based on the Roycoft Campus in East Aurora, New York, and in addition to her work as an artist, Judy uses Energy Work, meditation techniques, EFT, and other modalities to assist others in their efforts to regain control of stress and move into a new way of living.
