Classes and Events will be resuming at WillowLight as of April 2019...
As many of you know, after quite a few years and something like 1,500 classes, last spring I stepped down as the organizer who ran all of the classes and events, and another organizer took over the helm of that part of WillowLight. At the same time, I was made plans for the closing of WillowLight, and the venue was taken over and run by another organization. My professional life as a Nature artist and Spirit Artist/Medium has taken off, my teenage daughter was extremely busy, and something had to give:).
At the end of January however, the organization that took over the space/ran the classes closed it's doors, so I resumed the organizer status of the meetup group where we post all of our classes.
A lot has changed in a few short months, so I just wanted to let you know what was going on, and to some of you it may have seemed a bit chaotic in the many changes:).
While I have not taken over/re-opened the space as a wholeness center as before--nor do I intend to-- we do have classroom use, and I and the very talented massage therapist Christine Walczyk have retained an office at the same place (WillowLight). Another awesome event is that Barb Hallnan has recently returned to the space as well, to spread her light with BioGenesis, Shamanism, and Reiki, amongst other gifts. Barb is the organizer of two other great meetups in the area "East Aurora Reiki and Energy Medicines" and "Shaman's Hearth".
With Barb's return, and after hearing from many people about how they missed the opportunity to share and experience with like minds, I have decided to start posting some events and classes on a limited basis. Barb and I will be working together a bit on this, and she will be sharing much of her work here and on our meetup as well as her own.
You will notice that many of the postings will be Barb's events ...which are AWESOME, and I highly recommend! In fact, one of my big regrets when Barb left to go on her adventures last fall was that I did not take every opportunity to learn from this woman--one of the kindest, wisest old souls and teachers that I have ever known, so I urge you to take advantage of her teachings, mentorings or services when it serves you. You will not regret it.
While I do not intend to carry as intense of a schedule as in prior years, I hope that you will once again join us for fellowship and connection at a space that seems to bring such light and community to our little corner of the world.
